Meets update 26 July

The Roaches last weekend was one of our most popular meets ever – no doubt due to the frustration of being confined home for so long. Sixteen members and two guests enjoyed the novelty of being away from home for the weekend – and some great climbing!

We’ve got a change to the first August meet. Instead of heading along the coast to Portland for a weekend we’ve now got the opportunity to do some multi-pitch mountain routes in the Lake District because Stu has kindly offered his flat in Keswick for a week. Matt’s stepped up to organise it and it’s going to be a great week! It’s the week of 8-15; see the webpage for more details.

Matt’s also trying to sort out the Pembroke meet. Welsh campsites can now open but whether they want us remains to be seen… Watch the webpage for details.

The first Outdoor Novice meet of the year is to Fairy Cave on 30 August. It’s a nice friendly venue with some quality climbs so hopefully we’ll have a good turnout. Sign up on the webpage!
