Meets update – 15 June

The English countryside is opening up and it looks increasingly likely that camp sites will be allowed to open on 4 July. Climbing huts and bunkhouses remain closed for the foreseeable future but it’s looking promising for climbing/camping meets, although we may not be able to go where we intended (Wales and Scotland are currently off-limits) and to conform to the rules we should travel separately.

Looking at the meets calendar we’ve got two meets scheduled for July: Dartmoor at the beginning of the month is cancelled – or more correctly, it’s hopefully postponed, because we hope to get there later this year; The Roaches – although we can’t stay in the Don Whillans hut, we hope to run this meet as a camping trip. Hannah is looking into the options so keep an eye on the webpage and Facebook.

Next update mid-July…
