The latest government and BMC guidance has opened up the countryside for very limited climbing: you can climb with a member of your household, or with someone else if you keep 2 metres apart. If you are considering it take a look at the BMC RAD first because several crags (including Fairy Cave) are closed. There is no restriction on how far you can travel but you can’t stay away overnight. Camp sites, climbing huts and pubs remain closed. Sadly we’ve now cancelled the June meets. Who knows what the situation will be in a month’s time but there’ll be another meets update in mid-June.
