Meets are back!

The gloves are off and we’re hitting the ground running – and any other metaphors you want to add to the mix! After a frustrating three months we’ve now been told by the government we’re allowed to stay away overnight. It means we can start our meets programme, albeit with some tweaks. To satiate your climbing appetite here are some tasty trips coming up:

16-19 July The Roaches

The Whillans Hut is still closed so this is now a camping trip. Hanna has booked the whole campsite for us so there’s loads of space and some great climbing.

7-9 August Portland

This was a really good trip last year and a relaxing way to experience Portland without the drive both ways on the same day. Ivan originally intended organising it but has had to pull out; is somebody happy to take it on?

21-23 August Pembroke

We haven’t been here for a few years but it looks fantastic! Matt’s organiser and sorting out a campsite. Get your name down!

11-18 October El Chorro, Spain

The big trip. We had a brilliant time last year and there are still hundreds of routes for us to do – we might even get up some of them! It’ll probably be the last time you wear your shorts this year and there are lots of apres-climb activities… See the webpage for more details.
