  1. Mandy Chapman says:

    Yes please

  2. Pete says:

Possibly would come on this as long as there are some going who wish to climb the lower grades with me (Diff, V Diff Severe etc) as I am finding leading the harder stuff a bit of a push these days. I am going to Dartmoor in July as the sponsor so not too worried if this trip is for the higher grade climbers only (Josh, Mandy……).

  3. Pete says:

Where are you planning to stay for this meet, will it be at Langstone Manor, our usual place, or is there an alternative being suggested?

  4. Kirsty Chapman says:

Yes, please! Pete, I’ll be working on the lower grades too 🙂

  5. Jon says:

I should be able to make this trip. Might have to make a decision based on the weather near the time

  6. Helen Newman says:

Yes, please count me in for this trip 🙂

  7. Joshua Wright says:

Awesome, so I tried getting the Bunk House at Dewerstone, it was unfortunately fully booked for that weekend… apparently the alternative place is camping at Langstone Manor Park

At least it should give some flexibilty if the weather’s poor, and hopefully by April it will be warm enough.

So the plan would be to head to Dewerstone and either Sheeps Tor or Hounds Tor or both! For some Trad Climbing.

    Hopefully that all sounds ok!

Hi Josh, we as a group for many years and myself for at least 20 years have been using Langstone Manor, run by Jane and David so I know them quite well. They have a team doing the booking now so if when you phone or e mail them to book places we usually ask for the garden walled area near the wash block, and if you say we are Romsey Climbers we ask for several pitches together and share these between all of us and are charged per person not per pitch as a pitch is priced for 2 people in a larger tent. If you tell them there are 6 or 7 of us we usually have 3 pitches for that number as we all usually have small 1 or 2 man size tents. If you mention my name and say we usually arrange with Jane a group discount we should get in for about £7 per person per night. You will need to book soon as it gets popular. We do not usually have to pay any deposits, just give them numbers. If there is a problem, let me know and I will speak to Jane.

I have contacted Jane, they have space, I have booked for 9 people as there’s a few others I know want to come. She said it’s £5 per person per night.

I hope to be on this meet, Dave
